Insurance

Hi
Can anyone help?
At what age are Range Rovers regarded as classics for insurance
I.e would a early L322 be classed as a classic
Thanks

i think 20 years old is a rough benchmark ...

and then it would be a modern classic with older cars being vintage classics.

well, I would argue that the L322 became an instant classic in 2002 Wink Thumbs Up Mr. Green l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

So would I but it appears most don’t just had a price of over £700 for an 03 doing 1500 miles a year and I’m 57 and never had a claim in 40 years

Im sure I will find a better price at some point

Go compare have just reminded me by email that mine is due to renew within the next 30 days.
I am with Admiral at the moment but the renewal quote has not arrived yet, however , AA seem to be the company to beat this year at £382. Protected NCB. for my 2011 4.4 tdV8 , with £250 excess.

I just purchased a policy from the AA. Full comp, protected no claims = £217.

Good call Stan got a price from a comparison site for £260 with 3000 miles a year with no No Claims that’s on the other car
So main stream cheaper than the specialist sites

How very odd

I think a lot of people have SORN'd their cars and cancelled the insurance during lockdown so I'd expect insurance prices to be quite keen over the next 3-6mths as they all try and pick up new customers.

Well, that's what I'm hoping as mine's due in 3 months Thumbs Up Thumbs Up 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

Bingo, I’m 55 with full no claims. Car is fitted with a dash cam, no modifications and parked on the driveway overnight.

I stated 8000 miles per year, social, domestic & pleasure with to and from work. I also have my wife on the policy as a named driver.

Apparently having another named driver on the policy lowers any quote quite a bit.

Rolling with laughter Getting old has some advantages
50+ years clean licence and 30+ NCB, but one big disadvantage, Covid lockdown keeps you from using FF.

I have a 2011 TDV8 vogue, full NCD protected, 12,000 mls/yr, retired, spouse etc

Just got quote on AA website £877 for year with £700 excess (250 voluntary, 450 compulsory)

This is miles away from the few hundred a year you lads are getting!
