Thanks Stan, I’m still not sure if it’s safe to jack and remove all the wheels at the same time? |

The dealers put them on a ramp and take all the wheels off when doing a major service, nothing to worry about.. Pete

Loosen the wheel nuts a fraction before you lift it and you will be fine....exactly the same as using a 2post ramp.

If putting it on four stands, even at a conservative 2ton per stand that would be a 2 ton vehicle on 8 tons of stands. So plenty of SWL.

If you use a trolley jack make sure it can move on the surface it is placed on, with one end of the car on stands the jack will have to move forwards on its wheels as you jack the last end up, if it can't it can tip the other end off the axle stands as the arc of the jack pulls the car towards you... if that makes sense..!!

Thanks guys for your responses I feel a bit more confident with it now, just out of interest would this be the axel stand point in the rear?
