BMW V8 rumour

That site also brings up that BMW V8 rumour that never seems to go away.

As far as I understand, JLR is building a new V8 assembly line at Wolverhampton...

I never understand that silver roof.....

Black looks Cool with dark windows & all the black trim, but IMHO the silver always looks wrong.

Murdered look was 10 years ago.

Contrast roof Looks cool with dark colors And tinted windows . Brings everything together with the silver atlas trim running along the bottom of doors and bumper. Not to mention it’s inherently traditional classic British styling.
Reversely the black roof looks good on light colors. It works on the L405. On the l322 you have to have body colored roof no matter what 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Not sure whats happening with the BMW engine venture, as far as I heard the AJV8 is moving in house to JLR so no idea what that will mean - hence why facelift F-Type is still using it as well and Velar SVAutobiography is now running for 18 months instead of its initial 12 month only period.

I can guarantee the MK5 will have one thing - the Pivi Pro system from the Defender, anything other than that I can't guess at but it would be ridiculous for them not to put the new system across the entire JLR fleet as the Defender is the launch car for it.

Yes - the V8 Defender protoypes are 5 litre from looking up the registration.

Glad to see the drivers wearing a face mask Smile

Also looks like a return to L322 style rear exhaust, and a Velar/XJ Steering Wheel, interested to see what changes are occurring inside. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Looks like some heavy camo panels under wrap on doors and bonnet etc, door handles are similar to Velar and same as my Aston Martin, so been around for a while and quite nice once you get used to them
