2019 Matrix Light upgrade (Wiring)

Has anyone got the new matrix led type light to run on the 2015 models ??? For example just got a decent auto electrician to rewrite the current wiring to the new style lights with the current adapter?? I can’t find any info
.. just companies that sell wiring kits and then some sell already adapted lights .. it can’t be that difficult... can it?

Thanks

They don’t fit in the prefacelift. From what I understand you have to update the entire front clip (hood, bumper, grill...maybe fenders(not sure about the fenders). Short answer not worth it IMO 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Yes I have found a company rdcustom.it that do a very good adaptor have a look at their web site.
Also you do not need to replace fenders for update of lighting.
It will be expensive to do. I would love to do it to get the Laser Matrix lights , the lights would cost about $4000 , then you have bumper, Hood, and $1600 for adaptor.A lot of money in these very strange days.

Yea that’s a hard pass for me. I don’t even care for the new headlights that much. Led modules Kind of look Cheap to me. I would pay no more than 1k for them. Plus every “Range Rover” has the exact same DRL now. I like the pre-2018 Fullfat DRL to stick out from the rest. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

The same company does the smallest plug and play LED replacement bulb unit which does look like a good unit!
Plus much cheaper just replace your old HID bulbs and your good to go.
I hope that gives you some different options.

Would be very interested to see what that entails, and obviously real world reviews etc

They seem very professional, they offer a full LED conversation for 100 euro and then upto 1500 euro for laser. They seems to be options in between the 1000 and 1500 depending on black paint etc. I was ordering the LED bulbs and they mentioned the full conversion so I asked for the prices but didnt really pursue it as I'm not sure how long I'm keeping mine at the moment but if i keep it long term then it might be worth investigating more. 2015 4.4 AB

Wait so you give them your pre-2018 headlamps and they retrofit then with post-2018 LED beam modules and DRL? Does the adaptive LED work? I have adaptive HID so having it transferred over would be nice. For around 1600 US that’s not too bad....but I’d rather have new lamps for that price haha

I viewed their website. Looks to be an Italian company? I didn’t see any retrofit pics though.... Do they have pics of their work?

Also...it looks like there are 2 different types of these headlights. 1st one is 4 individual squares. 2nd is 2 wider squares. What’s the difference?

Hi , I contacted them to order the led bulbs and they mentioned the retrofit

'Yes, we do have the kit for your L405: https://www.rdcustom.it/store/land-rover/range-rover
This will improve the brightness at +150% and the colour will be really better than a standard HID.
We also offer the complete Full LED conversion, that is so bright (16.000lm) but this requires to work on your headlights and usually takes 2 days to be done.'

I asked the price as below is their answer

'The complete conversion costs 1000-1500€ + VAT based on options you choose (such as black paint, laser beam etc)'

That's all the info I have, my LEDs should be here next week ish. 2015 4.4 AB

interesting. I just bought the Osram CBH bulbs and they are pure pure white...look just like LED and match pretty close to the DRL...so I wouldn't be interest in drop in LED bulbs...the retrofit I am though 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC
