New member, first Range Rover hope its a good buy!

Hi all, just got myself a 53 plate Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8' with 98,000 miles on it, its in a rare colour 709 Juniper Blue, has two tone leather, rear entertainment, but I think it's missing the Sat Nav. Also has the original 'Morlands' sheep skin carpet rugs. Sheep
Got a few things to do, such as I think it needs a new Radiator and Oil cooler, it needs investigation first.

Hopefully the start of a good relationship lol.

Love the colour! What's going on at the back there? Some kind of power station chimneys under your bumper? Smile

Welcome aboard!
. Cheers, Greg

Thanks , I love the colour too, it changes from blue to purple depending on the sun.
Yeah it has some non standard exhausts on it, not had a chance to crawl underneath to look what's on there properly as yet, but hope to this week.

Agree - lovely looking car, completely spoilt by the exhausts that look completely out of place.

Seems an odd upgrade by someone - along with the chrome mirror caps - when pretty much everything else looks completely standard

I quite like the colour, be interested to know if the rear screens work as it does look like it is out of a supercharged car that would have been slightly later.

The exhausts though... Rolling with laughter

Enjoy! Alex

No, they are just a special order duo tone leather.

No Interior is all original, the build spec from SVO is two tone seats, also has the two tone steering wheel , which is currently covered by a black leather cover, but i will be removing that to show the original blue/cream wheel.
The rear screens do work but think that the Sat Nav unit has been removed from the rear 1/4 panel.

I have gearbox issues at present though so have to get it into a garage this week to be looked at Sad

Gone into failsafe and Gearbox overheat. Hope its not too serious!

Yes i Think it sounds like Radiator, Transmission cooler and fluid change from all ive read.

The Exhaust would not be my choice , but was on the car when i got it, and not main priority to get sorted, although i will keep a look out for a standard one.

Want to get it looking correct.

Mind you it does sound good Smile

its defo where I would start pal , I don't believe its an expensive thing to do and certainly not specialist work , the zorst just need re-routing and one of the tail pipes from either side removing , making it single outlet at either side and not the E-type jag set up it has currently lol
