Has anyone had to replace the rear cam bushing and bolts

I have tried to have my tracking done on my 4.4 tdv8 and been told that I need to change the rear cam bushing on the back as they and the bolts have had it. How easy is it and can it be done at home.

Yes, not too bad depending on the state of them - if they are like mine were then you'll fight with them - either an impact driver and/or something like the Irwin bolt extractors will be needed (I used Irwin in the end after struggling with normal sockets etc).

Can definitely be done at home.

Cover it in penetrating fluid for several days before, when I did mine I needed a 3/4" drive HGV rattle gun, it got one out and snapped the other and they are not small bolts....

You can reach the bolt through the wheel at 12 o'clock...

Also took the dealer three goes to get the right cam bolts for mine, so be warned....

Good luck Pete
