United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey
New to forum, hello from Dorset.

Hello chaps and ladies,
After a disastrous flirt with a TDV6 Disco, I took the plunge, bought what I should have done in the first place and got me a very nice 2007 model TDV8.
It's only done 92,000 miles from new with a comprehensive service record and I am the third owner, not too bad for what is now considered by most to be an old car.
I don't think it's been played with and the only obvious modification are the 21" alloys.
Plenty of little jobs to do on it such as rubbing down the stone chip damage on the rear arches and treating the surface rust, as well as a full service which I'll do myself as I have the tools and the knowhow.
I had great fun stripping and cleaning a seized up receiver hitch for the removable towbar as that was full of crud, but its all working, safe, secure and freshly repainted in stonechip.
I'll probably buy some diagnostic kit at some point as well.
Dr Rob is a mate of mine and he suggested joining this forum and so here I am.
Cheers.

Welcome and very nice looking ff. Put some more photos up including the interior please ๐Ÿ‘

Happy driving, servicing, repairing and modding.

Check your alternator output and buy a GAP iID Bluetooth scan tool.

My mum lives in Bridport but our ff is in Spain.

Welcome, and enjoy. All the info is on here. If itโ€™s wonky on the car someone else has had the same problem. The depth of knowledge on here about L322โ€™s is pretty much endless so have a good read.

As Iโ€™ve said before a few times, get a set of inter cooler hoses as job no 1. They are prone to going and if they havenโ€™t been done they will need doing.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

Nice motor Rob. Had one very similar myself. Bought with 92000 miles on it. 5 years happy motoring with trips to Europe towing tin tent. Gone to new owner at 162000 miles, but not forgotten. Only issues were turbo hoses and alternator. Kept it well serviced and it did me proud. Thumbs Up
