New to the forum thoughts plz

Hi guys
I'm new to the fold so be gentle with me plz

A bit of advice needed plz I'm going to look at a 4.2sc 2006 with 135k on it absolutely immaculate full history recon gearbox last year
Is the 135k to many miles for that engine also what do I need to look out for apart from the normal suspension faults I've had a could of rr over the years but not the supercharged ones
Any help would be great

Cheers Phil Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Theres a Wiki - top right - under where it says fullfatrr.com - there's an excellent buyers guide in there somewhere.

Search function should help too - I've never had a 4.2 S/C so can't be of much help.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will stumble across this - otherwise, if you have specific questions, then post them up Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

there is a thread on here which shows how many miles many of the regular posters cars have, there are several 4.2 sC on there and they have on

https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/post538438.html#538438o

that may give you an idea, the highest 4.2 is well over 280k. not to say there won't be problems along the way but in general they are a well regarded engine. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Also have a look at page 2 of Fanders thread here https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic52603.html ; he's done a buyers checklist for the 4.2 SC as well as a fluids and filters service schedule. Might help

Best thing you could do is to "Stay at Home"!

Visiting used Range Rovers whilst enjoyable, is hardly a requirement during these difficult times.
