My drivers door has stopped locking with the remote but still locks with the key so i take it the actuator has given up the ghost any ideas where to get one and how hard a job it is to change

Are the batteries in the keyfob flat? That would be my first port of call.

Are the other doors locking but not the drivers door? (If so then you can probably ignore the above) This might then suggest the actuator is at fault.

Always start with the most basic and cheap potential fix and work your way up. Discovery 4 HSE
