It was mine last weekend - certainly felt like every other day.....

Spare a thought for all daughters working in KEY jobs over this Easter holiday weekend.
My daughter is an NHS specialist respiratory Physio at her local hospital and she is working Fri Sat Sun & Monday.
She should have been away for a 4 day break with her husband to celebrate her 40th birthday.

Instead she will , along with many others across the country be fighting to keep many virus suffering patients breathing.

Sharing your thoughts Baltic my daughter is a surgeon in the NHS. I am both proud and worried in equal measure.

Mine tonight go out to a young nurse who works in the same hospital as my daughter.
She was looking forward to getting married next month, but is tonight fighting for her life in intensive care .

It'll be my daughters 21st in a couple of weeks which im afraid is looking ever more like a non starter!

I really should have posted in jokes as it was only an attempt to lift the mood. Obviously the NHS and all its staff are wonderful and I was also out clapping last night. Our clapping is a good way to show our appreciation for folk who never really expected to put their lives on the line and suspend their lives for us, but they do and we are grateful. Geoff

My Mum was 72 yesterday and we agreed no pressie or card through the post, but that’s a brilliant card  visiting from www.rrsport.co.uk

A bit of good news....
The young nurse with Covid at my daughters hospital has just in the last hour been discharged from hospital after 2 weeks in Intensive care followed by a few days on a recovery ward.
She can now start planning for her coming wedding.

I don’t know her, but the news has brought a tear to my eye.
