Hey

Will be sure to upload pictures - excited now. Was a bit wary at first with the new one coming out/ being unveiled next September (?) but then in past experience (certainly with BMW anyway) it wasn't wise to buy one of the first off the line. Had horrendous problems before.

Regards.

Had my new one since the 1st March and even had to wash her at the weekend having covered just under 1000 miles - no problems and what an engine Thumbs Up

Was down to Hull yesterday and did over 350 miles on all types of road - still got 28.5mpg Very Happy "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

That's very good MPG - especially for such a new engine. Coming from a car where single digit MPG is possible...

What's running in procedure?

Fully agree and I dont hang around either.

About 2 - 3mpg more than my TDV8 RRS that had the old 3.6 engine in Thumbs Up "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.

That is seriously good MPG. I've only managed 23.8mpg in the 3700 odd miles.

Well I guess each engine is individual and has it's own character - mine likes to drink! Laughing

But this is still all better than the last car at a nice 17mpg, and that was just a saloon car...

BTW, Johnson - you'll love it, effortless and peerless in every way.

Yes I loved it on test drive! Very very refined. Do I need to run it in? Had a look in the manual and can't see anything?
