I would say they need changing then because that was the condition my pipes were in.

Is this just standard vacuum hose that you replace with the existing connectors or does it need a new LR Genuine part? Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

I had some thick walled vacuum hose that just happened to fit. It would be nice to see a picture of someone else's hoses to see if mine were distorted. I will try and post a picture of mine.
