I have a question: as the RR PHEV does not have auto hold, which is the best action at a red light: press brake while in D, activate park brake while in D and release brake pedal (and press the gas pedal on green, which disables park brake), or get into P? Or maybe N + brake? |

That's what I do too... But I was thinking about using the park brake because of what it says in the manual:

i think it was RRPhil that mentioned that when in drive and foot on brake the gearbox dis-engages the cogs [or something like that] so there's no strain on the mechanics.. ... - .- -.

I think the smooth auto-release of the park brake is useful on steep hills when the car will not necessarily be held using the gearbox's creep function. I live on a steepish hill and sometimes the car holds, sometimes it does not, it has a fear of commitment. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso |
