I find giving the brakes a good blow out with one of these gets rid of any moisture on the brakes. It also does a good job of removing water from behind trims and door shuts.

How about spraying the discs with WD40 or Spray Grease?

I just started mine (no problem) and drove it back and forth on the drive. Being as most RRs are auto and I have a level drive I pretty much always just leave it in Park and have no trouble with sticking brakes. Geoff

Rob, started and drove mine after not touching for over 2 weeks and had no problems...no charger and no extra puff in tyres..
mine was left in park like Geoffs...

i think many are over thinking this and with summer here the battery will be fine.. ... - .- -.

I agree stan, mines been sat for just over 3 weeks, only started to move a trailer , in park with epd applied, everything working as normal, wouldn't expect anything else. Remember:- amateurs built the ark

Mine ran fine today after ~2.5 weeks, which is pretty much it's usual duty cycle as it normally gets used every other weekend, but was only a fairly short journey so won't have completely charged the battery.

All this lay up talk has got me seriously considering finally purchasing a CTEK charger (which I have admired many times!), not just for this, but to use on various other cars and boats as well, as we only have a bunch of fairly ancient and low powered 12V chargers.

My msx10 is plugged into the Bmw. But the 405 is fine.

Put the old-new battery I bought for the 322 in the 405 yesterday. All seems fine except for a call from Lr incontrol telling me I’d disconnected the battery....... Thud There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

All ordered last night and should be with me on Thursday!

Yep, I had exactly the same thinking - if buying an expensive CTEK, I thought I might as well buy the 10 amp one, so I can have as a power supply when using the IID as well. Will hopefully last a good few years.

Once it arrives and I've had a play with it, will see if I want any extra quick connect leads for other cars/boats. I assume like others on here I'll probably put a quick connect on the L322.

The CTEK MXS-10 arrived yesterday, pretty quick delivery from Amazon in the current climate.

Given I was working and didn't have time to wire it in to the L322, for an initial test I just used the croc clips on a boat in the garage, and it took maybe 4 hours to fully charge that and move into Float/Level 7. I then decided to put it on my Series 1 107" using the croc clips again, and give that battery a recondition cycle as well, as the 107" still uses the original generator, which isn't the best at really charging the battery properly. It was still going after 3 hours, so I left it working away overnight, but this morning happily sitting on Float/Level 7.

Wired in the provided permanent lead to my 5.0 S/C first thing this morning, and ~4 hours took that to Float/Level 7 too. For now the connector is just under the windscreen, but need to look at whether a CTEK extension would let me route it elsewhere, towards the front grill perhaps.

Need to charge a few more things now!
