MY10 as identified by the VIN diesel (3.6) had 2-piston sliding calipers as well as the MY10-12 NA 5.0 in those countries where it was sold.

Thats no good re the tires, I have run same size scorpion atr for years and really like them howvever sadly have never been in any extreme off road situations.. I like the AT+ for the great job they do for me every day including their low noise level. Damages were 1 brand new tyre was pierced at the top of the sidewall by a slither of pipe that had been cut from a fence prop that ended-up in the entrance to my driveway (replaced by Pirelli FOC) and the other destroyed when I hit a partly hidden lump of limestone on a rarely-used Nullabor track at around 40 kph, which also slightly bent the edge of the rim. I wish that Pirelli had persisted with their plan to release it in 255/60R19 LI 113 the same specs as their All Season for the L494/L405/L462. The 255/55R19 AT+ is only LI 110 and its sidewalls shorter so less suitable for outback touring even though some D4 owners are fond of them. |

Spot on, I have one. Currently amassing the parts required to fit the six pots - also fitting the 4.4/5.0 rear calipers and discs (which are also larger) to maintain balance. |

The rears on the MY11/12 4.4 are classed as minimum 18" rims and D4 18" rims indeed fit, having done a test fit myself. My son has fitted D4 18" to my old 3.0 D4 now back with the original larger brakes, albeit with the calipers "polished". |

The pad wear sensor is different, not that 1 sensor for 4 pads is a reliable indicator of worn pads. |

I disconnected my wear sensors deliberately when fitting the new brakes, Like you say only one per end of the car which tells you nothing really but above all having to or rely on a sensor to me is plain stupid.. It might be good for a soccer mum situation but if you have any mechanical abilities / mindset then you should be checking over your brakes regularly and know exactly what is going on with them, I every 15 thousand ks or so remove a wheel and service the brakes... blow the dust out and grease the relevant parts with bendix brake grease.. pull the pads and check them over which is very simple work
