Just spoke to my insurers to advise them of SORN status - made a note on my account but otherwise not that bothered. Policy unaffected. 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

It would be prudent to let the insures know & they can then make the call. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6 |

My good lady wife has expressed a preference for my car to be ‘ready to go” in case of emergencies, so it’ll be taxed again tomorrow. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

SORN the fatty and the M4. Going to keep the old work horse taxed just for nipping out to pick up essentials. Figured with the other two being SORN there will be no temptation to sneak out for a drive. |

I SORNd my car on 31st March and just this morning got a cheque for £138.75 as a VED refund - how did they work that out? Geoff |

Forget my last post, I must have had a bit of spare cash last year and taxed for a year and the money sent to me was simply a refund for the unused period. Obviously when I put it back on the road I will have to pay VED from then (backdated to the beginning of the month so I will be looking to do it on the 1st of whenever) - probably monthly this time.
