I've still got some paying contract work until end of next week (remote thank goodness). When that's done I will be sorting out the accounts and mothballing the business.

I also had a wedding shoot to do at the beginning of April, but that too has been postponed.

Outside of working, i've managed to have mown the lawns twice, and have cleared out crap from the annex (which is my manshed/office/gym). SWMBO is talking about turning some of the back garden into veg plots, so some digging may appear on the horizon.

I still have a couple of Lego Technic kits unbuilt, and at some point I will get back to the book I started writing about 2 years ago Smile

Finally, I was looking forward to a summer of gigs and running events, but they have all been cancelled Big Cry
The only thing left in my diary is the Great North Run - and I'm worried that even that far out (September) could be in doubt!

Strange times indeed. Current

Being self employed and no income coming in it's hard deciding if it's right to spend some money, e.g. a project car, so that I have something to do. there's still plenty of chores to be getting on with, but I'd love to get stuck into a decent project.

Sorry about the order & messy post.

My secret is out ! - yes, I'm into model railways.

I've 90% finished the "Parkhaus". Such an ugly carbunkle. As soon as I finished the ground floor I decided to build it as a derelict & cameo scene it with the demolition gang about to start. It will need final detailing/weathering & the pumps covered up when it is installed on "BelmontBahn" (see other images).

Just started the Moderne Feuerwache. The buildings are 1:87 scale.

I realy must figure out how to upload pictures.
Elise is in the workshop having her suspension striped cleaned and regreased.
But yesterday I decided to swap the summer wheels for the winter ones, as time is in abundance I cleaned the wheels back to almost new, I even clayed them before applying polish. Trouble is the rest of the car now looks a tad tiered. letters not necessarily in the right order

I've been trying to reconcile quantum mechanics with relativity. I've not been getting very far. Might move on to perpetual motion or alchemy.

Some nice models there Paul, especially the Monte Carlo Mini.

I attempted to build an Italeri model locomotive some years ago but the mouldings were poor - are the cars OK ?

Dropped a "you know what" with the current building - sprayed the outside of a wall instead of the inside with matt black (I illuminate all the building & hate to see light bleed through the structures). Will carefully try some brake fluid to strip it off. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

The Italeri cars are pretty good! The mini was a right Censored to do, being so small at 1/24th scale, the engine was tiny!!

I have a number of 1/12th scale models which are now boxed as I dont have space to display them.

Couple more of the Fiat, Mini and Lancias.
The grilles on the Lancia are photo-etched metal parts.

I have a couple of drones and my early attempts at flying them were a disaster - so I gave up. Time to have an other go. Very Happy Geoff
