Before scarey shouts at me tried a search , found nowt , just recently when i have the air con on auto there is a sound , which i can only describe as if there were water cascading thru and along the roof , not a loud sound tho , and when i switch the air con off it goes away , the noise sounds as if it is coming from around the sunroof area ........

Yeah sunroof was closed , and no it was not raining , just in case anyone replys ........... stan ....  ====================================

mick, could it be the lower dash area, there was a member that had water trapped behind the dash and a couple of drilled holes solved it..maybe the sound is transmitting to the top of the car somehow.. ... - .- -.
