Lockdown project thread

To lighten the mood a little during our lockdowns, I thought I'd start up a thread for those who want to share what they are getting up to.

Any projects, tasks etc?

Ouch, that looks sore Whistle

I’m lucky enough to have the ability to work remotely for customers that can facilitate this connectivity, which is keeping me out of SWMBOs hair Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I’ve started detailing my ff. Have all the gear from years ago but never really had the spare time to justify doing a vehicle the size of a ff.

That has obviously changed in these uncertain times. But I had forgotten the scale of the job and think it will take a bit longer than I’d planned Shocked

When I’ve finished and we’re allowed out again I’ll take some pictures of the finished article Thumbs Up

A few things planned.
Oil change on the Full Fat.
Get the SL out of mothballs, ready for the summer when it arrives, and give it a damn good clean.
Finally build a feather board fence to keep the ‘new’ puppy from escaping.
And don’t get me started on the veg garden.

At this rate I’ll need all summer to get things done.
(I should point out that these are the jobs I want to do and I haven’t mentioned the long list that SWMBO has already written Thumbs Up ) 2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀
2009 3.6 V8 (MY2010) - my first ever diesel! - now also gone Sad
2004 4.4 V8 Petrol Vogue - now gone

Bought a wood chipper and I'm attacking the over grown trees at home. Also bought one of my son a Toyota aygo for his first car. I might escape the virus by teaching my son to drive is almost definitely going to kill me Laughing 2015 4.4 AB

Did some bushes and laid some turf next door.

Tomorrow’s jobs are to order some arms, bolts and other bits. Drag out the BMW and give it a polish. And move some stuff around the garden ready for the topsoil which comes on thurs There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Still have a weeks worth of proper paying work, juggling between shouting at kids, man teachers don’t get paid enough.
To do;
Detail the full fat, never got round to it
Same for the pork, truly dreadful paint.
Don’t murder the kids

My next door neighbor offered me a beer at 2pm yesterday, was tempted but declined, must resist, although meant to be away in the tin tent for Easter hols next week so can’t promise abstinence. We will be camping on the drive, kids will love it, me less so, wife refused point blank.

Utterly bewildering situation, I am constantly bombarded with update email because of work, getting mental, I’ve started ignoring them, can’t control it so why worry.

I have some paving slabs arriving hopefully today, along with a plastic bike store thing - stocking up for DIY projects for the next couple of weekends.

I've also got a new desk & chair being delivered to upgrade my home office from occasional Fridays to likely full time for the next month at least
