The car got 164168 km . It was happened few minutes from my home at the slight descent. The car had lowered then I had two différentes défaut messages I can’t remember exactly because when I stopped the car it was gone. I tourned off thé engine. When I started again I had info HDC indisponible système default. Then no more reverse gear, Each Time when I wanted go on I had an Metallic noise as break.s pads worn just on thé beginning - I had à sensation that the car go on Alone without control and thé engine runs into thé void.Thé car has gone to the concessionnaire but before thé repair guy arrived my husband plugged IDTTool so thé defaults codes were P215B-62 (2C) Vehicle speed/ output shaft speed correlation - Algorithm based failure - signal compare failure Then P040D-00 (2F) Exhaust gas recirculation temperature sensor A-circuit high.. thé car Goes back to thé Range Rover, 2 weeks ago they have changed thé brake pads, gimbal and to my surprise fuel pump which worked perfectly before. Hé just call me to tell that the gearbox Is broken.... |

I should check the condition of the transmission output/transfer box input spline by seeing if the car will roll on its wheels while in Park (with the handbrake off) : https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/post331510.html#331510

I will try to explain the problem better start the vehicle without problem 200 m after the car has coasted I stopped two fault codes that I could not see because I cut the ignition I put the ignition on I put myself in position D. there I had a semblance of starting the displaced vehicle but nothing of acceleration was there the vehicle did not move the same problem was in position R. called my companion who put the diagnostic tool you see the error code it cleared the code is it restarted the vehicles and the problem was the same except that when they try to start in position D or R, a creaking noise is done when the car starts up again after the engine has started normally acceleration is carried out but the car does not move forward |

It means that the output speed signal from the transmission and the wheel speed signals do not tie up. This implies that there’s some kind of speed difference (factoring in the axle ratio) or disconnection between the two. This could possibly be a driveshaft fault, or maybe the final drive, but I would say the most likely is a stripped output shaft spline. The easiest way to determine this is to check whether the park lock stops the vehicle from moving when the handbrake is off. If it doesn’t (i.e. the vehicle can roll in Park), this proves there’s a driveline disconnect between the transmission output and the wheels. Phil |

Corsica:
It's "bébéchoon", ackcherly, with accents. 'Steve' to my chums. 20 years ownership of Solihull products, ALL GONE NOW, sniff! Current motor: Suzuki S-Cross 4WD auto, 1.4 petrol. Oh so reliable! 7 years now and no problems. Oh, all right then, a leaking shocker replaced under guarantee.
