Depends how badly it's been abused I suppose, but if it's still working and in use on the road it can't be THAT bad.

nobody said 'as a van' or abused - but as a workhorse Laughing

its rather a cynical/nasty sentiment to say 'some people have too much money...' - one could easily surmise that anyone with a FFRR has too much money?

in business everything has to pay for/justify its existence unless you want to go bust!

my offroad use of my FFRR would probably appall you?

which FFRR do you have out of interest?

This may have come across the wrong way, i just think it's sad when people have lambos, astons and the range rover gets used as the 'van'/workhorse and doesn't get looked after

I currently don't, I had a P38 4.6 a few years back and learning what I can before I purchase an L322 in the next few months

IMHO for a 02 oil burner with 90k that starts and drives your looking at 11k up.

As for "impeccable forum standard" that went out the window when i joined. 2004 black Vogue TD6

United Kingdom 2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

This was sold for £9870 at an auction last week:

2002 02 Land Rover Range Rover Diesel Estate 3.0 Td6 Hse 4dr Auto
84896 miles warranted, Blue, 8 Services, V5 here, MoT 28 Jun'11, Cream Leather, Multi Cd Player, Climate Control, Electric Memory Seats, Heated Front Screen, Power Door Mirrors, 3 Previous Mots, Sold As Seen, No VAT.

My 5 owner, July 2002 HSE 3.0L TD6 (with heated rear seats etc. but no Satnav) and 76,000 miles (no service history) was £12,200 from an auction 18 months ago. I bought "unseen" (not recommended) but after 15,000 miles has been a dream. works faultlessly adn is a joy to drive. Nothing has gone wrong and have only spent £200 on replacing suspension pump and radio amp so far. So £5k is a bargain even after spending some more on it to get it up to scratch.

If your mate don't want it, I bags first dibs on it then!! Whistle Thumbs Up

It must be the price that's holding it back. How much are you asking for it?

So, how much are you asking for the TD6 as I might be interested?

I'd say at £5k it could need an engine, plus gearbox, plus airbags, and still be a good buy! It would then have cost you £10k, but you would know everything had been replaced or reconditioned. Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!
