I would have beed ticked off if I had done it to my 9 year old RR so I know how you must feel with a 13 day old RR.

Hope the damage isn't too bad

The Super-extended mode happens when you are in off-road height but the car chassis sensors sense that there is an obstacle (ie a big f'off ditch) and automatically goes in the Extended mode. If you keep your foot on the brake pedal and press the 'up' air suspension button for 3 (or 5 secs) it goes in to Super extended.

Well, thats what happened to me today.

So that's it's first bit of "added character" then................... maybe you should consider a nice set of Goodyear MTR's on 2nd hand 19" rims for it's next foray into the undergrowth 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Absolutely thrilled for you at the lack of serious damage.

Lightly applying a bit of thinners may get the marks off the alloys, but don't rub too hard (success depends on whether the metal is actually scored or only marked).

It works wonders on caravans marked by branches or tar!

Best of luck.
