Electric towbar

Mine has just stopped working. Alarm pipping and light in load space flashing.
Handbook says leave it 90 minutes or contact dealer!
Any magic tricks to get it going again?

Mine wouldn't fully deploy a few weeks back, I gave it a good dose of penetrating fluid and I also put it on charge as the battery was a tad low, one or the other, or both, did the trick for me Thumbs Up 2013 405 TDV6 Vogue SE Barolo Black

Yup. Just seen by dealer and a big hammer couldn’t fix it, so it’s in for a complete new tow bar next week.
In the meantime, a trailer load of garden waste ferments!

Neither load space nor screen. Same alarm sound and a pic of partly deployed ( which it isn’t)
