Those bushes are designed with gaps to help with NVH and the extreme suspension travel. Are you sure it has failed? Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8

thanks will buy a bearing tool normally use sockets and a vice but guess this way can do it without breaking the ball joint end.

Yes, it should look like that. If your steering is not feeling vague they are probably OK. The MOT tester will definitely have checked them as they are a known failure point on these vehicles and bushes generally are something they pay attention to. Previously a 2008MY Tonga Green Vogue SE 3.6 TDV8

Interesting thanks for the info, have a slight rumbling from the front sometime assumed this was the cause but maybe not, I ssumed all bushes were solid.

They look Ok, the arms themselves look quite recent and are OEM Lemforder.

The easiest way to do these is to replace the whole arm. Bolt on/off then. The arms are reasonable, if you do decide to do them the extra 25 quid or so over the cost of a bush will seem worth it when you are trying to extract the bush and get it back in pointing in exactly the right way.

The rubber with the arrow isn’t meant to be attached, the other 2 at 12 o’clock and 4 o’clock are. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
