Good morning Stan,
I will find the article evidence soon, but it definitely said cars fitted with DPF’s fit into “5” , but only later cars which have both DPF and use “ add blue” rate as “6”.

Confirmed Euro 5 Stan.

The 4.4 was introduced because it met Euro5
(the 3.6 is Euro4)

Mike you're right - it was later that it met Euro 6, now called SDV8 on L405s with the addition of AdBlue.

. Cheers, Greg

Just to expand the topic slightly
I have been searching for articles that confirm what “sticker etc” is required in other EU countries, particularly Spain and Portugal, but can’t find anything.
Can anyone help please ?

Mike, For Portugal. Thumbs Up

http://urbanaccessregulations.eu/countries...gal/lisbon

This for Madrid: https://endesavehiculoelectrico.com/en/res...-and-when/

It appears they are using variable speed limits to restrict.

For Spain a search on "vehicle pollution ++++", where "++++" is the city of interest, should give results. John

Thanks John,
I won’t be visiting either Lisbon or Porto on this years trip, but was mainly thinking Faro could be a concern.
I will however be visiting Seville and Salamanca in Spain.
Cheers

Hi, Guys Just returned from six weeks travelling around Macon, Rhone Alpes region with the tin tent, Bought the crite as a precaution in case I got lost and ended up in a city? My 2011 4.4 is Euro 5, I also got a SANF tag for the tolls which is free if you apply thru Euro tunnel, if not It will cost 10 euros to apply, there is an annual management fee of 6 euros,20 euros deposit which is refundable when you return the tag. you also pay a management fee of 5 euros per month but no more than 10 euros for the year. the tag is great don't have to stop and queue don't pay conversion rate charge on the c/card. The downside is no discount. hope this is of some help to someone.

Alex

An alternative to Sanef is Easytrip http://www.easytrip.fr/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI...BwE#offers

It's the one I use and, I understand, is cheaper. John

As long as your windscreen Whistle

There’s no expiry date, but I don’t think it would peel back off.
