TD6 Very sluggish with P0193 Fuel rail pressure sensor fault

Hi,

Not sure if anyone has come across this issue before. 2006 TD6 which starts up perfectly but is very sluggish to move up to 30mph and then will gradually start to pick up speed from there. It revs up fine when out of gear and seems to run smoothly. Plugging into diagnostics revealed a lot of faults including a boost related fault and P0193 Fule rail sensor short circuit to postitive.

Cleared all faults and the P0193 code remains. Would this cause the car to be so sluggish from a standstill? I know its an easy sensor to change but it feels much more serious than that, almost like it might be gearbox related

Has anyone had this issue?

Yeah I wondered this, guess it's worth the simple swap of the rail sensor first
