what sort of price for a 2002 TD6?

asking for a friend

its not been very well maintained but it drives well at 90K miles - its one of his bosses cars and he often drives it

its a Vogue and most of the 'systems' work eg air suspension etc etc

he thinks about £5K?

well he offered his boss £5K and he (the boss) thought it was too much given the condition of the car!!!

i've told him to offer again and say he accepts the defects etc Smile

i've not seen the car but if i have a few hours spare this week i'll drive up and see it

his boss also has a Lambo Murcielago and an Aston DB9 Laughing

the FFRR is just a workhorse!

Some people have too much money, using a FFRR as a van Sad

Depends how badly it's been abused I suppose, but if it's still working and in use on the road it can't be THAT bad.

nobody said 'as a van' or abused - but as a workhorse Laughing

its rather a cynical/nasty sentiment to say 'some people have too much money...' - one could easily surmise that anyone with a FFRR has too much money?

in business everything has to pay for/justify its existence unless you want to go bust!

my offroad use of my FFRR would probably appall you?

which FFRR do you have out of interest?

It might be what the vehicle "owes" the company that owns it. Right downs and all that may mean in reality to the company it is only worth 5K.

Great bargain assuming nothing major is wrong with it. Ash

I think it may have been a "tongue in cheek" comment that you've read too much into mate.

Personally, I wish I had "too much money" I've not found how much "too much" is yet, however - I'm willing to try and find out!
