Just for the record. I fitted a set of illuminated tread plates to my non autobiography model a couple of weeks ago. You only need to remove the trim on the centre pillars. The front trim under dash you can get away with just pulling the end up nearest to tread plate and sliding it underneath. Same with the rear |

Glad to hear it went well. Theyโre a bit of a silly design having the painted part raised around the Range Rover letters . Very vulnerable to getting scratched.

Yup, the design does mean they are vulnerable to scratching. I had some sticky carpet film that is strong and trimmed it around the plates with a modellers knife. The sticky stuff doesnโt leave a residue so can change it as needed. |
