The next Generation of BIG ships

Maersk line has just launched this website for their newest class of ships, enjoy the facts - put all the containers end to end and they stretch for 68 miles................. that's a lot of lorries and trains to get those containers in and out of the ports they will run between.

We did a quote for ' Mr. Maersk' years ago, shame it did not go further as the ships look really impressive.......on that front I was 5 foot from some F22s with a quartet taking off 50m away the other day.....that was really a 'boys & their toys' moment....

Mr Macinley Maesrk is 93 and still goes into the office every day and is paying for these monsters out of the cashbox, not with bank loans. Mind you he does own all the licences for extracting all of the oil and gas out of Denmark's sector of the North Sea too and being in the oil and gas well owning business can be no bad thing at the moment, he has difficulty spending all his dosh every year anyway and has no shareholders he has to placate either as it's a private company. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Tim, regarding the containers it states " if they were put on top of each other they would almost reach beyond the stratosphere (47 km)."

I would not recommend this for health & safety reasons.......please pass on my advice to your employers.

I'll tell them to park them end to end on the M25 on Friday afternoon from about 2pm - that would give the company plenty of free advertising too....................... if you stacked them end to end vertically it would be even more hazardous JF................ and 68 miles high 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
