Stab in the dark - have you checked the earths? Sounds like the gradual loss could be stg coming loose. Or check for a pinched wire in the rear. It has happened before apparently. |

Could be an earth problem or one of the fibre optic units in line has packed up. If one goes it stops them all. How to test is in this thread:
