Get yourself a low cost code reader preferably one that can turn off the light . Then you will be "in charge of the situation" rather than the dealer . MIL can be on for the slightest transient thing and sometimes may never reappear one reset ! |

Mine broke in December as we pulled into Chateau Impney... I rang LA and was told i could have the AA out immediately or i could book an appointment with a master tech in the morning and the latter is what i did as i wanted the car fixed! Not just relayed to the nearest JLR dealer!

JLR tech turned up. Variable vane turbo actuator diagnosed as the fault. As the recent journeys were bimble commutes I didn't need enough power to notice if there was any related performance issue. Into the stealer next Friday( warranty repair).
