Thanks guys - got back to the station today and it hasn't done it again, so fingers crossed whatever it was has fixed itself. Will check tightness of battery connections |

Worth checking for breaks on the wires going to the top of the shock absorbers in the engine bay. They control the active dynamics which can cause errors like this (I think was standard from 2010). Have you got a diagnostic tool to read error codes? |

Check the fusible link 'board' behind the battery. My facelift TDV8 had a complete fit a few times and it was related to a lightly 'fretted' connection on one of the fusible links that fed the ABS amongst other circuits.
