When ever I get to the euro tunnel Landrover ring me to say my car might be stolen, if I park in an underground car park I get the call also, my key is present.
I think someone had a spare key for your car or like I said previously, the dealer you bought it from lies about the key module upgrade.

I'd be curious if there is a serious flaw in the KVM system, once coded are they also VIN locked? if not they could be using a spare KVM and key from another vehicle. The KVM isn't exactly hard to get to if all you want to do is slave in a new KVM and leave it dangling.

I know a few land rover models used to go missing by the thieves turning up with a replacement ecu that had the immobiliser deactivated allowing them to hot wire the ignition and go. Current

2016 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Carpathian Grey

Just as an update - insurers have agreed to pay - thought everyone might be interested to know how much.

They originally offered 37.3k for my 2016MY 4.4 AB 57k miles - immediately said mine was absolute top spec (which it was - ask Stan) and they jumped straight away to £39k.

Have said still not enough and submitted the full topix printout and asked for an engineers view (they’ve promised it can’t go lower than the improved valuation they’ve given.)

Thought people would be interested in general - not so much for insurance as most people have Gap but for what Glass is saying a car should be worth. 2016MY Carpathian 4.4SDV8 Autobiography (Stolen) 😡

It’s more than I paid. But I found a unicorn I think. There are no other similar spec cars at LR dealers full stop and the closest are c. £5k more. 2016MY Carpathian 4.4SDV8 Autobiography (Stolen) 😡
