Big discounts available

Just had an email from Drive the Deal. They are offering 17.5% off a Vogue SE SDV6 so it is down from about £90k to £74K.
No wonder depreciation is high.

Just done this for a VSE 4.4, got a quote of £84k, same spec as mine, with sunroof, premium colour, 22” turbines, privacy, full size spare etc etc etc - which was well over £100k new. You do though have to take the LR Finance as the discount includes a £4K contribution from LR.

To be fair I think this is merely a realignment of prices to a realistic level as LR products have been overpriced for a long time now. The jump in price from a 322 VSE to a 405 VSE represented a price hike in the region of over £20k when like for like specs were compared. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

It will be interesting to see how he dealers react to this,
i wonder if a dealer would offer the same discounts if you went in,
just priced up a 4.4 AB in red base price came back just over 94K, when got through the price came in at 99k on a stock car.
I am car less once again, i went to the dark side and bought an X5 M50D, turns out these are pretty much as useless as RR Banging Head Banging Head
might not too long before i am back in a FFRR.

Is that including the £2.4k discount for in-stock cars? Shouldn’t be too big a surprise that discounts are increasing with the new one around the corner.

At 17.5% I would be wondering what model year it is, instincts say 2019MY not 2020, not that it makes a HUGE difference. Or maybe someone's trying to hit a target. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

I’m thinking similarly.

We just picked up a VSE TDV6 for £80 vs list of £95

That was from a dealer who has an affiliate discount arrangement through work

Other dealers were at best 2/3 of that.

When is just around the corner? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Anyone heard of any good deals recently, thinking of a Westminster run out model. I have looking on some of the sites and 11% seems easily achievable. I would be happy going for Vogue spec if the price was right though. 2021 L405 Vogue D300

Drive the deal now has a D300 Westminster which I think is the new model for £76,077 which they say is 13% off, ie a discount of over £10,000

Yeah I have seen that deal, just cant decide if I want to go down the Diesel route again. I had a lot of problems with oil dilution on my TDV6 which spoilt an otherwise great car. 2021 L405 Vogue D300

Diesel

A Diesel engine will spoil any car.

The SDV8 is the best part of mine and is the best engine I’ve ever owned or driven Thumbs Up

If a 60 degree diesel V8 is the best engine you have ever owned or driven, I don’t even want to think about what came before it...

Agreed..... To be frank if they drop the 4.4 L engine and only do the 3L engine , then the main point of difference (FOR ME) tween RR & all the others is narrowed significantly, possibly eliminated. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits.
