is that a joke or serious? so if you have the car screens on and sound and the front screen you'd get 5-10 mins? my m6 admittedly only has one screen but has a logic 7 amp and I can easily sit watching tv for 30mins+ Current stable:

I recall a few posts on here of folks not getting a long time without engine running but maybe that was watching TV

Really depends on the model as to the fit -- 019 only in 4.4TDV8 -- 020 is too big, honest, I tried...... very hard ! (and even with a hammer) Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I have a Bosch 020 in my TDv8 and had one in the Td6. I cut off the lip at the bottom of one end and it went in fine. I know that it wouldn't help with a warrant claim if I needed one but I was happy to take the chance.

So far it has been working perfectly well for over two years (kiss of death?) and the extra capacity makes quite a difference IMO. John

So the battery....

It’s a good inch longer than the standard one.

You have two choices to make it fit.

1. The positive cable has a black plastic box built into it with a monster fuse. This is the problem it gets in the way. You could get rid of this fuse box and just have a traditional clamp on the cable and all would be good in the world - I think there are monster fuses inside to stop problems anyway.

2. (What I went for) trim down the right hand side tab on the battery and that would be ok but still way too tight for my liking. So I use a small hammer to bend out the metal wall to the left of the battery and whilst still tight there is a tiny bit of ventilation now.

I am going on a decent drive tomorrow to the airport so will road test then but drove 5 miles no probs Current stable:

Trimmed battery feet just a little and 'eased' the left hand metal wall. L322 3.6 TDV8 Vogue. 07MY
