I put the panel onto of the instrument cluster and plug it into the ciggy lighter in the front ashtray. I had thought about putting it up on the sunroof shade but resting on the dash works fine 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

Fitted mine but can't tell if it's actually charging as the blue led flashes all the time.

I guess the gaps in bonnet & doors/seals are enough to allow using the battery clips then placing on dashboard with wires through door shuts? |

On a 2007? My guess is that the one in the boot is always live (to, say, run a fridge). Last edited by Emperor Mong on 11th Mar 2011 5:24pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Picked one up for the first trip to the airport or when I have to leave it for a week but I checked all three lighter sockets with a mobile charger and they all power down with the ignition so it would need to be directly connected I would think ? 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

On the 2007 the 2 front sockets are not live so won't charge but the one in the boot is live and does charge. Think it was the same for my 2005 MY06.

If the front cig lighter is not live (when ignition off), how does this help your battery charge then Tim? '01 1.8i Freelander. Grey/ grey '06 4.2 S/C Buckingham Blue/ Parchment '15 5.0 S/C SVA Loire blue/ Black |
