Hi all

I was under the impression that the rear sits a little lower on an L322 (10mm i think from memory?) - but does this look right to you on level ground?

difficult to see from those angles but the front looks slightly to high in relation to the rear..

Thank you stan - i had found that last night actually whilst scouring the forums. I'm going to view on Sunday so i'll take a tape measure!

If the ground isn't level, should the car level itself or will it sit lower at the back if pointing uphill?

Assuming it doesn't measure ok, is this potentially a calibration type issue (providing no obvious leaks)?

Could be one of many reasons.

PO/CO has set suspension lower/higher - F/R using diagnostic tool
Suspension needs calibrating
Something broken (height sensor)
Something worn out - suspension part
Suspension set to access / motorway ? (depends on age of vehicle)

Best to check on reasonably level ground, suspension does all sorts of weird things when on a slope (when left to its own devices)

Most important thing is if it all goes up and down OK (Access/Normal/OffRoad and back) - do this with engine running and give the compressor a chance to refill the reservoir if trying to go from access to off road .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

Thanks Joe. Everything went up and down as it should. When i arrived it was sitting a little lower at the back but was parked on a hill up a kerb.

When returned from test drive all looked normal.
