Good price for an AB?

Seems like a good deal if the SH isn't too gappy?

That smacks of 100k nerves.
Peeps think 100k is the kryptonite of cars.

But 100k's just run in. Especially on a 4.4TDV8.
Would have had an alternator and a starter around 80k so niggles should be shaken out of it.

Bargain. Like a lot of diesels right now.

. Cheers, Greg

You know it.

Tell the guy how much trouble Range Rovers are. Rolling with laughter
And you'll be doing him a favour taking it off his hands.
Ask him if it's had the turbo drain done and that needs doing at £1500
And tell him you can't even drive it into London because it's Euro5

You might even get it for nearer 10.

Watching Mike Brewer bless him in the days I did watch WD (i.e. with Ed) Mike would have a detailed phone call and ask as much as possible over the phone and finish the call with getting the sellers lowest price.

When he got there in person he would usually bid lower again based on whatever he found.

Cash helps too if you can.
. Cheers, Greg

And if somebody did that to me I would let them come all the way to view the car - wait for the low bid and tell them to fluck off as they were obviously not worth dealing with as they were out of their financial depth 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

Of course!

As would I.

Skills required on both sides of the fence.

Absence of a full service history would put me off every time. If on inspection that can be explained / excused then.... go for it if you're feeling optimistic. If alternatives are available at same price / spec with better history then I would go for those instead. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Hope I don't get slated for putting a downer on this vehicle....but a few niggles....as follows:

Interior seats have either been chammy'd over or 'blacked' which makes the leather look false, you don't do this on an RR!
No reference to how long the seller has had it [assuming of course he's not a trader]
MOT History check not the best especially reference to 'DPF being tampered with' makes me think the previous owner has/had mega problems with DPF faults & possibly had the DPF removed, understandable on an older car but not this new?
The above answers why it's advertised with 'new exhaust DPF & CAT'
I may be too OCD for some, but if I were selling that I'd put all the service history, dates, mileage, & where for all to see. A simple 'part history' and '2 owners' is not enough for me, sorry if I've Censored ed over your strawberries.

If you're looking for one, I would try the forum 'for sale' first, AJGalaxy has a nice looking one for similar money.

Apologies if I've offended anyone........if I have, tough.....I'll do it again Rolling with laughter 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

I know and I agree having found a photo of the vehicle on ebay where its also listed and I could make out the reg. The MoT history doesn't inspire confidence, esp the DPF.

I would always start with the for sale section on here but it's been thin pickings recently. I like the look of AJGalaxy's car but he's a long way from me so was just browsing other options locally.

[Edit] It's on as an Ebay auction, currently at £7000 with 6 days to go. It'll be interesting to see what it makes and whether the sale completes [/Edit] 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

I don't disagree but my point was its an AB which, from my monitoring of prices at least, have always commanded a significant premium. This is the first I've seen at that year / mileage anywhere near £12k.

Maybe it's a bargain, maybe prices are on the slide or maybe it's got some serious issues. I don't really buy the last of those as why would the unscrupulous flag the fact a car had issues by under-pricing it?

Let me reiterate that I like AJGalaxy's car very much Thumbs Up 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

I think that if you know your way around a L322, conduct your due diligence checks and view the car with realistic expectations then it could be a bargain.
