France 2013 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Causeway Grey

How someone can order a car without knowing how it will look or how good or bad it will be escapes me!
I will wait to see what they come up with and if it looks like the Evoque but just larger, I think I will rush out, finances permitting, to buy one of the last L322!
Reading the Top Gear review of the 4.4 TDV8, they are saying it is more than likely the next Range Rover will be an inferior product to the current one. Apparently BMW spent a billion pounds developing the L322 and then the subsequent owners spent their share improving an already very good car.
Will Ratan Tata spend a billion in developing costs for the new one, probably not!

I cant see anything wrong buying without knowing 100% what the finished product will be. If RR are taking on Bentley for customers with the new release then I recon the new RR will be awesome. People buy houses off-plan, get your name at the front of the queue and enjoy the anticipation!

I'm into property and when I sell off-plan, the buyer actually knows what he or she is buying, sees the detailed plans and specification, architect drawings and so on

2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

One problem I have with all the pending designs of replacement Range Rovers is the loss of their vast glass areas - look at the Evoque, it's not going to be easy to see out of the back or over the shoulders and the sketches of what people think L405 will look like don't show anything any better. I love the view out of current Range Rovers and Land Rovers, it's what makes such big cars so easy to drive. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Thanks for all the positive replies gents and also other opinions the main reason I put the deposit down was because I was swithering between an Evoque or 2011 4,4 TDV8 but decided to hang fire and wait for the new model

When and if I receive any updates or pictures I will certainly post them Thumbs Up

Mick, everything else aside, theres a good chance that a completely new RR will sell at premium for a bit so if all else fails and you change your mind, you could probably sell the build slot.... My Previous RR's!

Yes, great stuff Mick. Bow down

Didn't even know they were taking depositis already ! Shocked

Should be a great vehicle, they think it'll be about 500kg lighter than the Full Fat don't they?
Fuel economy and speed should be amazing for a Range Rover. Thumbs Up

Damn, I might have to start saving up... Wink
Or sell some of the four motors I have. Laughing
