Are you sure, in the salty UK these can look very corroded but actually ok, it’s normally surface scale and when cleaned off very little wall loss is found. The tubing is very thick walled. |

I'm just going on what the mechanic told me! He said it would fail the MOT based on corrosion. I might let it fail and then replace |

When I bought my TD6, the garage had to sort the subframe. Ended up on a ramp with steering off etc and engine supported, whilst it was sent off for clean up and powder coating.

I had the subrame sandblasted and re-coated, I just have to install it

I have yesterday build out the subframe , it´s not so easy , I have a heavy rust cleaner the first two days spray every day here is a picture from the old subframe
and this little part, the exhauster from the heather is the mistake , it is too short , 5 cm longer and I have not must change the subframe
