RR TDV8 wheel stiles

Happy New Year to you all. I have just purchased an 07 TDV8, yet to pick up. The car has standard 20” wheels and I would like to put on 18” so I can get a higher side wall for all terrain tyres. I have read many posts here but it is all a little confusing. Which wheels would suite? Also is there a site where I can compare all the different “stile” LR wheels produced for the FF Vogues.

I've put 19" Range Rover Sport wheels on mine and running them with Goodyear wrangler Durtracs they have a bit of road noise but the off road performance is really good.

Thanks for the reply. Are the RRS wheels the same weight rating as the RRV?
I also apologise for my bad spelling of “style”. A big night and brain fade.....

There are 19" RR wheels that will take Duratrac 255/55R19 which would avoid concern about weight ratings, style 15 fits over the later callipers so would be the most versatile. Wider choice for 07 MY though. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Your restriction will be the Brembo front callipers... From memory i think there's only one style of 19" wheel that will fit! And Compomotive sell an 18" after market Alloy wheel that fits over the callipers... Thumbs Up

OK, style 15 is the one that fits over the bigger callipers.

Incidentally, if you can put up with the 99mph speed rating then you could put Duratrac 255/55R20 on your 20" wheels, the car rides a bit higher, so slightly less stable in cornering, but perfectly manageable in normal use. Lots of 322 owners (including me) have fitted 405 wheels with that circumference tyres and I've not heard of any problems, other than mismatch with the standard spare wheel and maybe fitting the larger wheel/tyre into the boot well.

Off topic, but sorry about the dreadful fires in Australia just now, I hope things improve. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Thanks for the reply’s I will see what I can find around Sydney. I am in no hurry so I have plenty of time for research.
As to your comment on the fires. This coming weekend is going to be horrendous for some communities. My nephew has just sent his family to a safe area whilst he and others prepare for the onslaught. He is in the Police force so will be on 24 hour duty. Thanks for your thoughts.

But for clarity's sakes! 18" wheels will fit on a 2004 as it has small brake callipers... 2007> TDV8's have Brembo's so your 18's probably wont fit the OP's car sir... Thumbs Up
