They’re a great shopping car, I’d definitely buy one if I needed something smaller. But, as you have shown, the torque on cars like that falls way short and, once rolling, the pickup is noticeably weak by comparison to a big oil smoking V8 like yours.

An R32 is only 250 BHP and won’t have the torque of the SDV8 but I reckon Mikey is right he wasn’t trying too hard as the R32 engine does need to be worked hard to get the best out of it I know as I have one in my track day car. |

I had a scat pack challenger move into an exit lane before a red light to overtake me from a stop. As a rule of thumb I don't let people use turn lanes to overtake me. He wasn't expecting the range to be as quick as it was. |
