So, after much difficulty sourcing a servotronic valve connector and being let down or ignored by everybody I have asked I decided to make something up to test.

With the servotronic valve hooked up to an ignition switched 12v power source the steering isnt that much different at parking/maneuvering speeds or low speeds but I can tell the difference at 30mph as the steering becomes very light.

I think this would suggest everything on the electrical side is ok?

At this point I feel like I have exhausted all avenues.

Since my last post I have fitted a new battery and replaced the BMS module just in case.

Any thoughts welcomed before I trade it in for a Volvo.

I've seen Martin's name come up on the facebook pages alot.

I will ask his opinion but I doubt I'll be able to get the car to him as he is down south.

The only thing that notably makes a difference is holding the engine rpm at 3k.

Doing this with the vehicle stationary allows me to smoothly palm the steering from lock to lock.

Any ideas why this would be? (Pump already replaced with a 60k mile used unit)
