Guys got myself a mk4 dvd based sat nav but it has the bmw splash screen.
Been trying to download the v32 firmware and nav tweak but my pc is having none of it. Does anybody have a copy of the firmware with the Range Rover splash screen that I could have? 2004 Autobiography TD6 Java Black

make sure you burn the disc at the slowest speed your cd drive can do, if you don’t the disc will not work.

flashing the nav unit

​

1 turn the ignition switch to position 1.

2 allow the navigation system to boot up into normal operating mode.

3 leaving the system on (never turn the power off during these steps!), eject the navigation dvd from your drive unit.

4 insert the firmware disk into your nav unit.

5 watch your nav screen and be patient. once it detects the firmware update disc the screen will go blank.

6 a few moments later, the screen will turn back on. it should take around 6 minutes to perform the upgrade. when finished it will eject the cd automatically.

7 the system will restart back into its normal operating mode, reinsert your nav disc and test.

i have the files, but they are large -- not sure how to get them to you really ! Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

It needs to stay 100% original to maintain and increase its value. But to be honest I don’t find the sat Nav too bad, never got me into trouble. Shame they stopped the updates for it in 2014 but other than that it’s a decent system. Current
