Put yourself in the shoes of someone buying it off you in a few years - most will want a FSH.... Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

If I was looking at a new one and it did not have an FSH but the seller could produce parts recites for doing the work him self knowing it has been well cared for. The lack of JLR service would not put me off as they only do what's on the service schedule? unless you say can you look at ??? |

On the one with missing - have got them to get LR Extended Warranty to confirm in writing that there will not be any claim withheld due to the miss", the dealer to confirm in writing that the prior owner confirmed (in writing) that the service DID happen, and the dealer to send me every print out of every service and warranty claim Battersea did including the random software update at the exact time the service was supposed to have happened.

Not going to believe this but I’ve lost 5 days of my life because some fat fingered at Lookers Battersea incorrectly logged a 2016 service as 2017. Dealer I’m buying from sent full breakdown of work done at Battersea plus invoices for the services. One look at the breakdown showed that the impossible had happened - the car had “lost” 5k miles between some repair work in ‘17 and the supposed service. Invoice then showed the date as 2016.

I don't care about service records... you can poke around the car and get a better idea as to how it was maintained vs some stack of papers. |

Saga continues! Driver turned up to deliver car up to me and it promptly shat all its coolant. Driver had barely gone a mile! Back to dealer - they spend the day pressure testing the engine - good news it’s the hose that runs coolant to the pre-heat apparently that has a split. Bad news it’s a 2 day job as they have to take the back end of the car apart to replace it. So no car for my trip north. So making them deliver it to me in Scotland if they miss delivering for Xmas Eve! Sales guy may have to drive it there himself.
