Following gradual loss of satnav, stored cd's, voice command, cruise control, folding mirrors, seat memory etc. over the last couple of months, now the car won't lock due to an issue with the n/s rear door. All other doors lock except this one, although it does lock reliably from the inside buttons which is no use at all. Same behaviour with both remotes. This is my seventh FF covering all mk's and without doubt the most troublesome with the P38 now in second place. Also losing more JLR MD's in south Bucks. Wooburn Green lost years ago, now Aylesbury has gone plus Jaguar in Amersham now closed. The car still moves backwards and forwards quite fast but that's about it. Last serviced at MD about 6k miles ago with an interim oil service by myself due to apparent overfill reading which I now don't believe was correct. To say I'm off is an understatement but any advice appreciated.

Didn't Wooburn Green move to Slough? I know they moved again, still in Slough, to a new showroom within the industrial estate

Yes, Wooburn Green moved to Burnham, and then nearby Slough where they still are. Bought my previous L322 new from them just before they left Wooburn which was a fabulous trouble free motor over 14 years of ownership. Land Rover in Aylesbury have recently moved to Aston Clinton. They're both about the same distance from where I live so it will boil down to who can remedy the issues first

I seem to remember a technique to resynchronise the door locking on 322's, but i'm not sure if it applies to 405's.
