You got me thinking of having a look at google street view on my street. Wasn’t sure if the photos had been updated... but sure enough they have updated the photos.

Got waaaaay too stressed about the upcoming week, and the anniversary's of people I was close to's deaths on the previous couple of weeks, so carved a big hole in my plans and took a drive down to the coast for the obligatory Battered sausage and chips and snuck in a little byway driving too after I checked that the byway I wanted was still open. Sinking marshland and fatties are fun No harm done to the coutry side, used low range to crawl out of a rut I got in with no grief at all. But as soon as the track was getting to this stage, I turned the car round and went back as I didn't want to destroy the track.

Typical, something big hit my windscreen hard yesterday 😭 so my 18 month old windscreen needs to be replaced. The damage is about the size of a 20p coin. I also bought a couple of battery monitors that link to my phones for the cars so I get a heads up in the future, if one of my cars decide to develop a battery drain fault. Only £20 😀

Thought I would fit something that I would consider an aid to the Tank to notify me of a low battery charge for if or when I end up with a battery drain or if I accidentally let the battery get too low when having doors open etc... So went to Lidl and spent £40 on 2 Battery monitors. What a load of old

After contacting the company who supply and make the battery voltage monitor device, I was a little horrified once it finally worked at the results.

After a bad start to the day with my health, I had to force myself to empty the trailer of the engine that was in it that was covered up, and the hoist got stuck in the ground, so had to use Tank to help move the hoist with the engine on it. Worked great

I have been busy between being ill. Tank is decorated for Christmas. And has been a great car, but not been used as much lately as I have been mostly using the ML.

Like it, especially the way the antlers are highlighted.

First time I lost trust in this car, always just got in it and without a second thought, driven it. At first when I first started it, HDC briefly flashed up and went out, got 8-10 miles up the road, and then everything lit up, ABS, HDC Inactive, Suspension Inactive, and every other light, so without hesitation, I just turned around and brought the car home and grabbed the V8. I had no time to investigate as I had a long journey to do dead early in the morning. Well, early for me. When I got home 13 hours later I started the engine, No warning lights so plugged my diagnostics in, and the only thing that came up, was Permanent Brake Light Switch. Strange as the brakes lights were working properly with the pedal, so cleared the fault codes, went on a test drive, and everything was fine I really could have done without a £105 fuel bill this side of Christmas with the repair costs of my ML at the moment.

Woohoo, I am finally collecting Tank tomorrow. New Turbo now fitted, and new brake pedal switch, Thank you AA BRC which has meant that I only have to pay £130 as that is what it went over the BRC Claim amount I could claim. The ML is next inline. |

Nothing scarier than being told by your breakdown attendant that you are lucky to be alive The ML was leaking exhaust gases soo badly into the cabin that had I not had all the windows open for the entire journey today, I could have ended up in a bad situation. Luckily I knew there was an issue (didn't realise it was quite that bad though ) So got it to the garage and now it is in for a new turbo. Which meant, Finally, I got Tank back
