When I started washing the car in the rain my neighbours thought I had gone mad I did wash it all, the colour change from the front door is just a shadow - honest

no you're not mad geoff , you're just savvy....the rain saves you chamoising off the excess water and it leaves a lime stain free finish.... ... - .- -.

Actually that’s an additional benefit I didn’t think of. I thought no sun and the rain would soften the . Geoff |

It is going dark, much brighter at the front due to no shadow from house.

I bought it because it wasn't Black and it had a deployable towbar and it doesn't look too bad for a 5 year old car - maybe 6. Geoff |

I've had another look at the paint mismatch at first I did think it was a shadow, I certainly hadn't noticed it before but yes, viewed from certain angles there is a mismatch so a repair has been done at some time. Thanks M@r]{ for pointing that out - you've ruined my day. Geoff |

I did but he also might not have noticed, he certainly didn’t mention it. I always give the benefit of the doubt, the member in question isn’t very active - well not any more at any rate. Geoff |
