Lower Tailgate opening

Does anyone know how I can adjust my lower tailgate opening speed etc? My lower tailgate use to open smoothly and now it kind of drops from a half way point! 2017 Range Rover Vogue V6 Diesel

theres a module in the boot that controls this, maybe its faulty or its connections are loose.. ... - .- -.
