Mine has started doing this very regularly , I just connect to the posts under the bonnet. Think a new battery is needed soon.. |

Yeah low battery warnings aren't remedied by just charging the battery unless the car is sitting weeks at a time. You either have a drain, a tired battery or a problem at the alternator. |

I had the same problems on my 2018 car and the dealer took it in and tested it. They replaced the battery under warranty All LR cars from 1984

It's the right place to charge - I connected up the permanent cable that came with my CTEK to those terminals

Definitely a drain on the battery or one that needs replacing.

Yes, I have a Blackvue 750-2CH dashcam that stays on after ignition off,but that definitely should not drain the battery if you get the settings right on the Power magic unit under the lower glove box,

That's exactly the same Dashcam I had problems with.

But if you switch off with the ignition, you get no parking recordings which is when most bumps to you car occur IMHO. All LR cars from 1984

Agreed, it’s a flaw in their design. Do a search and it’s a common problem with BlackVue Dashcams drawing too much current. They also offer an additional mini battery solution but that provides only a limited operating time after the ignition is switched off. I didn’t think the price was worth it.

No, I adjusted the switches on the magic box to the maximum voltage (12.5V) and minimum time (12hr) which resulted in it always switching off with the ignition. See below.
